The Whisky Library The Whisky Library at Rust-en-Vrede, Durbanville, was established in 2020 by whisky enthusiast, Jacques Radyn.
Our mission is to give our customers the opportunity to experience and taste great whiskies from around the globe. We have close to 1000 different whiskies, with new whiskies arriving every month. We also have 20 different set tastings for you to choose from as well as drams from the menu you can order and enjoy on their own. A great selection of cigars are also now available for you to pair with your favourite whiskies.
Kiapanande Artisan Soapery Kiapanande artisan soapery creates 100% natural soap based on traditional methods and recipes. Our soaps do not contain any artificial colorants, scents, or preservatives.
We also produce a range of other body spoils like, bath salts, body butter, sugar scrubs, and more.
Kiapanande also does custom orders for weddings/parties/corporate gifting, as well as private labels for other brands.
Clay Lab 
The Jewellery Studio Qualified goldsmith, Tanja du Plessis creates exquisite jewellery in her studio at Rust-en-Vrede. Whether it is an engagement ring or an intricate bracelet, each piece is a work of art. She also repairs jewellery. Phone Tanja to make an appointment, or pop into the studio if you are looking for that something special.
Frieda van Zyl Art Studio Frieda van Zyl is a printmaker specializing in etchings. She is also the owner of Rosendal Art and Framing, situated next to Rust-en-Vrede Gallery.
Piet-my-vrou Mosaics In this joyful studio you will learn the various techniques and processes involved in the art of creating your own beautiful mosaics.
We share our knowledge and learn from each other.
We drink coffee and laugh a lot.
We become friends through creating something beautiful out of broken pieces.
Come and add some colour to your life and those of others.

Art Classes Various art classes given by independent tutors. These include Drawing, Painting and Etching.
These classes are designed to encourage interaction between students, tutors, artists and others to create a vibrant ambiance.
Learn about Still Life, Landscape, Abstract etc., Styles and Techniques, Mixing of Colours and Composition. Beginners and Advanced welcome. Tuesday mornings, afternoons and evenings. Also Wednesday evenings.
