Our Previous Winner
My name is Malini Mistry, and I am a high-school student from Cape Town. My mum is an artist, so I grew up surrounded by art and was encouraged to explore my creativity in different mediums from a young age. I love painting portraits because it allows you to really see people. My portrait, “Happier,” is a self-portrait in acrylic on canvas, in which I looked at colour and expression.
