“This new body of work is a combination of drawings and paintings depicting the hybrid human/animal figure in both serious and fun projections. The series of drawings deals with Land re-distribution and it’s inconsistencies in management, and it’s breaking of time lines and promises. While the paintings are more light hearted and depict the human/animal/bird portraits in dress up creating various fun characters through pose, dress, and a projection of identity.

The power of projection whether it is through visual appearance or written promises is where the delusion lies, and it is where so many misconceptions and misinterpretations take place. It is these little inconsistencies which are interesting and which are an underlying notion in this exhibition.”
