Solo Exhibition:
‘A Time of Abundance’ is Free State based artist Phillip Heenop’s debut solo exhibition and features a selection of portraits in the artist’s beautiful, painterly style.
Heenop poses the question ‘What does it mean to be human?’ with this new body of work.
Through his paintings, he hopes to create a rich, metaphorical dialogue centered around the concept of ‘abundance’, which can be found in the vibrancy of our emotions, the richness of nature, in our shared human experiences, and in the acceptance of our fate.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 22 February ’25 at 11h00 and runs until Thursday 29 March ’25. Works can be viewed from 9h00.
