With the modernization of civilization, humans have lost their connection to and awe of the mysterious forests of the world, hacking down the viridescent sentinels en masse for the sake of a growing world economy.

This exhibition attempts to re-root our veneration of the primordial forest; nudging us gently on to take heed and listen when the wild woods whisper.

Dina Kuijers, Matthew Blackburn, Yoram Shabat, Nada Spencer, Jaco van Schalkwyk, Madeleine van Manen, Johan Swart, Kate Scharf, Nadine Hansen, Owen Wiese, Marguerite Roux, Bettina Elten, Terri Petrick, Lesley Ireland Mathew and Paula van Coller-Louw.

In commemoration of Ian Marley, a work on loan from the Stellenbosch Academy collection is also on show.
