THREADED

THREADED

OJIJI + The little artists school

Group exhibition

Dates: 13/06/2026 – 08/07/2026

THREADed, an initiative by Johannesburg based NPO Ojiji, brings together children’s artwork, textile language, storytelling, and contemporary design to explore how creativity connects people across age, background, memory, and place.

Working with the Little Artists School, the exhibition is built on a simple belief: that a child’s creative voice grows most powerfully in relationship. The works in THREADed were mostly made by children –  but they were made possible by the teachers and mentors who sat alongside them, asked the right questions, and refused to let an idea stay small. This is their story too. This exhibition will showcase works of both mentors and the children they have guided.
